11 Sep 10 Saturday - Fall Conference - Eastern Virginia

Registration form is posted on the Conference page.  Follow the instructions on the form to send in your registration.  Early registration -  before 28 August 2010 - is $30 per person.  Cost after that, and at the door, is $40 per person.

 

This is a special Awana 60th anniversary conference.  The conference will be broadcast, live, from Grove Avenue, to a nation-wide audience.  Speakers and workshop leaders from Awana headquarters will be on-hand.  Plan to attend in person. 

 

Please do not send registrations to Awana headquarters.

 

Conference theme is "Generation After Generation".  Speakers include Art Rorheim (co-founder of Awana), Jonathan Falwell (president of Liberty University & pastor at Thomas Road Baptist Church in Lynchburg), Shawn Thornton (pastor at Calvary Community Chruch in Westlake Village, California), and Jack Eggar (president and chief executive officer of Awana Clubs International).

Coaches meeting at Liberty Baptist Church, 1021 Big Bethel Road, Hampton, VA 23666.

Starts at 1:00 PM, should be done at 3:00 PM.

15 Jan 11 Saturday - Bible Quiz Coaches Meeting - Richmond

Coaches meeting at Goodwill Baptist Church, 8701 Hungary Spring Road, Richmond, VA 23228-1704.

Starts at 9:30 AM, should be over by 11:30 AM.

15 Jan 11 Saturday - Bible Quiz Coaches Meeting - Fredericksburg

Coaches meeting at Oakland Baptist, 5520 James Madison Parkway, King George, VA 22485.

Starts at 1:30 PM, should be over by 3:30 PM.

22 Jan 11 Saturday - AwanaGames Coaches / Judges Meeting - Peninsula

Coaches and Line Judges at Denbigh Baptist Church, 13010 Mitchell Point Road, Newport News, VA 23602-6912.  Meet at 10 AM to go over rules.

This also constitutes training for new Line Judges.  Meeting should be over by noon.

Test must be passed to be certified as Line Judge.

29 Jan 11 Saturday - AwanaGames Coaches / Judges Meeting - Petersburg

Coaches and Line Judges at Calvary Baptist, 17001 Jefferson Davis Highway, Colonial Heights, VA 23834-0334.  Meet at 10 AM to go over rules.

This also constitutes training for new Line Judges.  Meeting should be over by noon.

Test must be passed to be certified as Line Judge.

05 Feb 11 Saturday - T&T Bible Quiz - Hampton Roads

Bible Quiz at Liberty Baptist Church, 1021 Big Bethel Road, Hampton, VA 23666.

Workers arrive by 8:30AM. Team sign-in starts at 9:00 AM, followed immediately by written quiz.

Bible Quiz flag ceremony begins at 10:00AM - best time for the audience.

24/7 Ministries - Trek and Journey - will have a day of events at Calvary Baptist, 17001 Jefferson Davis Highway, in Colonial Heights.  Both Bible Quiz and Awana Games will be held on this occasion.

Bible Quiz teams check-in by 9:00AM.  Quizzing begins at 9:30AM.

Awana Games teams check-in by 11:c0AM.  Games begin around 12:30PM.
